Heading to the coast for good weather? Forget it, in the Kempen we always enjoy the highest summer temperatures!
Going to the seaside when the weather is good? Forget it! In the Kempen region summer temperatures are always the highest and we have almost more water recreation than all of the Belgian seaside towns combined! The region has both indoor and outdoor pools, lakes, rivers, places where you can kayak, canoe, paddle a pedalo … too much to mention.
Almost all of the local towns have a public swimming pool, for outdoor fun you can go to De Lilse Bergen, Het Zilvermeer, the Baalse Hei and the Molenzijdse Heide.
