What security measures apply in my accommodation?

Holiday parks, accommodation parks, camper van sites and campsites,… are open.

The communal sanitary facilities in or on an accommodation, such as the sanitary blocks on a campsite, the communal bathroom in a B&B, etc., may also be used. Swimming pools, sports pools, instruction pools and children’s pools may be open in lodgings provided the protocol applicable to swimming pools is respected. Restaurants and bars are back open, with the same measures as catering.

You have to comply with a number of safety measures included in the corresponding safety protocol. In addition to the basic protocol for the entire tourism sector, a specific protocol was drawn up for each type of accommodation. You can find all these protocols on our protocol page. On this page (see other frequently asked questions) you will also find more information on the obligation to request contact details of your guests/clients and on whether or not it is compulsory for your guests to wear mouth masks.

As part of the fight against COVID-19, safety rules apply throughout Belgium. Information from the government can be found on the website www.info-coronavirus.be in several languages.

In Belgium, camping and holiday companies operate according to a safety protocol with safety measures for a safe stay. This page summarises the main rules of conduct. Always follow the rules and instructions of the holiday company where you are a guest.

The information below has been carefully compiled and is regularly checked for up-to-dateness in connection with the crisis situation. For any comments, please contact the administrators of this website at info@kempencamping.be. We wish you a safe camping stay in Flanders!
