Miles of forest paths, soft sandy tracks and heathland as far as the eye can see: the Kempen is made for long walks with your four-legged friend. Around almost every campsite you will find paths where the two of you can walk for hours, from a morning round to a full day’s hike.
Keep in mind that dogs must be kept on a lead in most nature reserves, so as not to startle the residents of forest and heath. Several municipalities also have off-lead zones where your dog can properly let loose. Ask at your campsite: the owners know the best spots in their area.
